Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, on Sunday attended the wedding Fatiha of the children of Alhaji Dahiru Rabiu K.K Rahama who married off five of his children.
During the ceremony, Deputy Governor Garo served as Waliyyi (guardian) for Fatima Alhaji Dahiru Rabiu K.K Rahama, who was joined in marriage to Anas Alhaji Musa Zakari, Dagacin Sheka, with a dowry of N100,000.
Following the ceremony, he proceeded to Charanci, where he condoled with popular photographer Abdulrahman Sa’id, also known as Blue Lens, over the death of his mother.
He later visited Arewa Medical Consultants Ltd. Hospital to sympathise with Hajiya Aisha Sani Zawiyya, mother of former Commissioner for Local Governments, Lamin Sani, who is currently receiving treatment. He prayed for her quick recovery and encouraged the family to remain hopeful and steadfast.

In another engagement, he visited Gawuna in Nasarawa Local Government Area to sympathise with Alhaji Isa Garba Gawuna, who is also undergoing treatment.
The Deputy Governor also visited Gama Ward in Nasarawa Local Government Area, where he condoled with philanthropist Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar, popularly known as Mamman Nation, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Muhammad.
At each of the visits, he prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and asked Allah to grant their families the strength to bear the losses.
He further prayed for continued peace, unity, and the wellbeing of the people of Kano State.
