Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, on Monday undertook condolence visits to families of deceased persons across parts of the state.
The Deputy Governor began the visits in Karaye Local Government Area, where he condoled with the family of the late Alhaji Muhammadu Dan Zara, former APC Chairman of the LGA, who recently passed away.
The Deputy Governor and his entourage later proceeded to Garo town in Kabo Local Government Area, where he paid condolence visits to several bereaved families.
Among those he condoled with was Hon. Abba Salisu Maiwake, Secretary of Kabo LGA, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Zainabu Abu Salisu.

He also visited the family of the late Hajiya Zainabu Adamu (Zazzau), mother of Alhaji Sani Master Garo, who passed away on Monday.
The Deputy Governor further condoled with the families of the late Alhaji Lawan Bako Ja, Jamilu Salisu Riga, a serving police officer and Rabiu Ibrahim Likita, who also died recently.

He equally paid condolence visit to families of Alh. Abdulkadir Yakassai in Kano Municipal LGA.
The families and residents described the deceased as people who had close relationships with the Deputy Governor as family members, friends and associates.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive shortcomings of the deceased and grant them eternal rest, while asking Allah to give their families the strength and fortitude to bear the losses.
