Ahmadiyya Platform Basketball Team emerged champions of the maiden edition of the Ahmad Musa Kida (AMK) Foundation 3×3 Basketball3×3 Basketball Tournament held at the Rumfa College Basketball Court in Kano.
The one-day competition was sponsored by the President of the Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF), Alhaji Ahmad Musa Kida, as part of efforts to promote grassroots basketball development across the country.
In the final match, Ahmadiyya Platform defeated the highly rated Rumfa College team 21–14 to claim the championship trophy.
Speaking after the tournament, the competition coordinator and former basketball star, Sunusi Shuaibu Badway, expressed satisfaction with the turnout of spectators and the level of participation.

He commended Ahmad Musa Kida for sponsoring the competition and called on other philanthropists and corporate organisations to support the growth of basketball in Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.
Earlier, Kano-based businessman and veteran basketball player, Alhaji Tijjani Paki, praised the NBBF President for bringing the competition to Kano. He noted that such tournaments provide young players with opportunities to develop their talents and prepare for future state, national and international competitions.
The event concluded with the presentation of medals and trophies to the winners and runners-up. Other participating teams, including Elevators, Bayero University Kano (BUK), Kabuga Warriors, Bukavu Blinks, Paki Warriors and Sweet Coach Mother, received souvenirs in recognition of their participation.
