The National Universities Commission (NUC) has alerted all Nigerian universities about a recent development involving a Germany-based human trafficking network.
The network, operating under the pretense of offering internships to students, has been uncovered by Indonesian police.
The NUC, in a circular referenced 736/S.5/V/153 and dated May 13, 2024, from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), emphasized the importance of disseminating this information widely within academic institutions.
