The inauguration ceremony, held on Thursday in Abuja, brought together the newly appointed presidents, secretaries-general and board members of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, Nigeria Arm Wrestling Federation, Nigeria Padel Federation and Nigeria Fencing Federation.

Director-General of the NSC, Hon. Bukola Olopade, urged the appointees to regard their appointments as a call to national service and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of their respective sporting disciplines.

He stressed the need for the new boards to uphold accountability, work collectively and place the interests of athletes and Nigerian sports above personal considerations.
