Alhaji Hassan Yusuf Dan makwayo, the uncle of Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has passed away.
According to a statement signed by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the spokesperson for the Governor, Alhaji Hassan Yusuf, a retired nursing officer, died after a prolonged illness.
The statement said Hassan aged 72, died on Saturday and has been buried according to Islamic rites.
Clockwise reports that the deceased is survived by his wife, many children, grandchildren and relatives.
Late Dan’makwayo was the younger brother to late Alhaji Kabir Yusuf, the father of Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his soul Jannatul Firdaus and the fortitude of the family to bear the irreparable loss.
