On the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day, His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Kano State, extends his sincere good wishes to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Deputy President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Barau I. Jibrin, CFR, the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ismail Falgore, Honourable Members of the House of Representatives from Kano State, and their counterparts in the Kano State House of Assembly.
He acknowledges their invaluable contributions to democratic governance and legislative development, and wishes them continued wisdom and success in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities. He joins the good people of our dear state and the nation in commemorating this significant national occasion and extends to them his heartfelt good wishes.
The Deputy Governor observes that democracy derives its true value from responsible leadership, public trust, and the opportunity it affords every citizen to contribute to the growth and well-being of society. He notes that the strength of any democratic order is measured not only by its institutions but also by its ability to reflect the hopes and legitimate aspirations of its people.

He expresses the hope that the occasion will inspire deeper confidence in the nation’s democratic ideals and encourage a stronger collective resolve to build a secure, inclusive, and flourishing future for our dear state and nation.
