Dangote Petroleum Refinery has commenced free delivery of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol, to customers in six states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), while retaining its ex-depot price of N1,075 per litre.
The refinery announced the initiative in a notice shared on its official X account on Wednesday, saying the free delivery service is available to customers purchasing a minimum of 250,000 litres of petrol.
According to the company, the offer covers Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kaduna and Delta states, as well as the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The initiative comes days after the refinery met with stakeholders in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector to discuss cost-reflective petrol pricing and strategies for improving fuel distribution.
The meeting ended with stakeholders expressing support for further reductions in petrol prices.

The latest development also follows the refinery’s recent decision to cut its gantry price for the fourth time, reducing the ex-depot cost of petrol to N1,075 per litre.
Industry operators say the refinery’s pricing strategy is already influencing the retail market.
President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Abubakar Maigandi, recently disclosed that the pump price of petrol has dropped by about N125 per litre over the past three weeks.
According to him, motorists now buy petrol at between N1,155 and N1,299 per litre, depending on location and the marketer.
The refinery’s latest move is expected to reduce logistics costs for bulk buyers and further improve the distribution of petroleum products across the affected states.
