Gov Yusuf’s Delegation Attends Funeral Prayer of Late Tsanyawa APC Chieftain

The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, has led a state government delegation on behalf of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to attend the Funeral prayer of Alhaji Hamisu Bala Gurum, the APC Caucus Chairman in Tsanyawa Local Government Area, who passed away yesterday (Thursday).

The Deputy Governor conveyed the condolences of Governor Yusuf and the Kano State Government to the immediate family of the deceased, the APC family and the entire people of Tsanyawa Local Government Area shortly after the funeral prayer.

Garo described the death of Alhaji Hamisu Gurum as a painful and significant loss, noting that the deceased was a committed political leader who dedicated his lifetime to the service and development of his community.

“The Kano State Government shares in the grief of the family and the people of Tsanyawa at this difficult moment. We pray Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus,” the Deputy Governor said.

He also prayed to Almighty Allah to comfort the bereaved family and grant his wives, children, relatives and loved ones the strength and patience to bear the painful and irreparable loss.

Late Alhaji Hamisu Gurum, who is survived by three wives, 22 children and many grandchildren, held several political and community leadership positions during his lifetime.

His previous roles included Chairman of the Tsanyawa NRC and Acting Chairman of the PDP in Tsanyawa Local Government Area.

He was also among those who contributed to the creation of Tsanyawa Local Government Area.

Meanwhile, the delegation, also led by Deputy Governor Garo on behalf of Governor Yusuf, visited Bichi Local Government Area to condole with a political ally, Alhaji Kabiru Ibrahim, popularly known as Dan KB Bichi, over the recent death of his father, Alhaji Ibrahim Gandu.

The Deputy Governor conveyed the condolences of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the Kano State Government to the family and prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and give the bereaved family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
