…As JIBWIS Commends Hajj Seats Allocation by Gov. Yusuf

The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, has reaffirmed that his doors remain open to advice and constructive suggestions aimed at advancing the development and progress of the state.
Garo made the remark while receiving a delegation from the Kano State chapter of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) during a courtesy visit to his office on Monday.
He expressed satisfaction with the delegation’s commendation of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s allocation of 27 Hajj seats to members of JIBWIS during the 2026 Hajj exercise, describing the gesture as a demonstration of the administration’s commitment to supporting religious institutions and promoting Islamic teachings in line with the Sunnah.
The Deputy Governor appreciated the visit and thanked the delegation for their goodwill and prayers, reaffirming his commitment to working closely with religious institutions for the development of the state.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, said the visit was to congratulate the Deputy Governor on his new role and to offer prayers for guidance and wisdom for both him and Governor Yusuf in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Prof. Pakistan, a former Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), described Garo as a loyal, dedicated, and exemplary leader, and requested him to convey the group’s appreciation to Governor Yusuf for the allocation of Hajj seats and for fostering unity among Islamic groups in the state.
He also assured the administration of JIBWIS’s continued support through prayers and constructive advice, while praying for sustained peace and security in Kano State and Nigeria at large.
