Alh. Ahmed Shu’aibu Gara Gombe, CEO of the African Network Center and Chairman of the Gombe Athletics Association, has donated 2 million naira to support law school students from Gombe state. The donation aims to alleviate the students’ economic hardship as they begin their exams.
The 80 students, approved by the Council of Legal Education, will each receive 25,000 naira. This gesture is part of Gara Gombe’s philanthropic efforts, which have made a positive impact on various segments of society. He has previously advocated for support for these law students, citing the high cost of living and educational expenses at the campuses.
Ibrahim Dauda Adamu, one of the beneficiaries and coordinator of the Gombe State Law Students’ Association, expressed gratitude to Gara Gombe for his benevolence. Adamu acknowledged Gara Gombe’s role in establishing the Gombe State Law Students Association, which will distribute the palliative.
Gara Gombe emphasized his commitment to education and encouraged others to follow his example. He believes that even small contributions can make a significant difference in the lives of students. His life philosophy is guided by the belief that humans should develop the spirit of giving from whatever they have, prompting other gestures in the past, including scholarships at different level of study .
