He was on Monday received by former Kano State governor, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, at his Miller Road residence in Kano following his official defection.
As part of his reception into the Kwankwasiyya movement, Dawaki was decorated with the symbolic red Kwankwasiyya cap.
The defection marks a fresh political development within the APC as the former federal lawmaker and senior party official formally aligns with the NDC and the Kwankwasiyya political movement.
