It  said the meeting was held at the Tinubu Campaign Office in the state.

It  explained that the decision to step back was reached after widespread public reactions and concerns generated by the proposed establishment of an independent Hisbah outfit.
The statement noted that key stakeholders intervened in the matter, including the Kano State Government, the Department of State Services (DSS), and former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, with the aim of preserving peace and stability in the state.

‘’The stakeholders resolved to suspend the plan in order to allow the Kano State Government to review the disengagement of some Hisbah personnel and address the issue through dialogue and mutual understanding,’’ the statement said.

It further reaffirmed respect for the legally established Hisbah Board in Kano State and expressed commitment to supporting constituted security agencies in maintaining law and order, as well as safeguarding lives and property across the state and the country at large.
